The world of organic skin care has changed since we launched over 15 years ago.
At that time we were innovators in the organic beauty industry creating a line of products free of parabens and phthalates. We are proud of our role in educating the industry, press and consumers about the dangers of these ingredients. Since our original launch we have raised our daughters, established our wellness practices and updated our brand to address the changing times. While maintaining our mind/body approach, we’ve done considerable research to begin reformulation of our products, adding additional ingredients proven to calm the mind and impact the body in positive ways.
Our Story
SHE was founded by Laura Kauffmann and Beth Hooper, licensed acupuncturists, Chinese herbalists, registered yoga teachers and mothers raising daughters.
As dedicated moms with a passion for purity we wanted more from our skincare products. Drawing upon the wisdom of ancient physicians and modern teachers we set out to create a brand that represented who we are as healers and seekers of wellness, using all natural and certified organic ingredients.
